Good news! Geniatech Android TV Box OpenELEC support is coming!

OpenELEC isan embedded operating system built

With OpenELEC support, any Geniatech Android TV Box based onS812/S805/S802 chipset such as ATV1900AC, ATV585, ATV582, AV387, ATV185 and ATV181 can all turn into a hybrid media center without having to manage an operating system,heavy configuration and install the packages required. It is simple to install,easy to manage and use as a media center base.

If your device model type is ATV582/ATV1800/ATV387/ATV181,and working with last 20150526 firmware,please download below firmware file and manually upgrade:

If your device model type is ATV585/ATV185,and working with last 20150526 firmware,please download below firmware file and manually upgrade:

If your device model type is ATV582/ATV1800/ATV387/ATV181,and working with last 20150526 firmware,please download below firmware file and manually upgrade:

The manually upgrade method:
Do not need unzip,copy the file into external storage and connect to the device,run Upgrade app,select local update option and find the file to upgrade.If no files found, please press menu button on remote control for 8 times continued, it will search all files again.

Note:
If you want to manually update back to Android 4.4 20150526 firmware base on the Openelec firmware, please follow the steps below.
1.Use needle to press and hold the upgrade/reset button.
2.Plug in power adapter，hold the button for 10 seconds.
3.Normally you will enter in to recovery mode,release the button and press up down button on remote control to choose Wipe data/factory reset,Press Yes to start,and then wipe cache partition.
4.Choose apply update from EXT,select the Android 4.4 20150526 firmware to update.
5.After finished,choose Reboot the system now option.
